Meet at The Queens Head, West Chiltington

Friday 7th March

A visit to Lancing College Chapel with lunch or coffee at the Hummingbird Cafe.

​We plan to leave WCVH at 10.00 a.m. in time to arrive by 11.00 a.m. for a guided tour of the Chapel

and then we will have free time to explore by ourselves. 

We will go on to the Hummingbird Cafe for lunch. 

Return to WCVH by 4.00 p.m. at the latest.

The contribution to the chapel visit is £5 and this will go to support ongoing conservations projects. 

Paid on the day.  The cost of the minibus fare will depend upon number of passengers.

Approximately £5.00-£6.50, to be paid at the February WI meeting.

Seasonal Walks

March - Parham woods with refreshments at The Crown, Cootham.

April - Bluebell walk through Slindon woods with refreshments at the Slindon Coffee Shop.

May - Walk along the riverbank at Bramber village plus a visit to

St Margaret's House, with refreshments at a local pub.

June - Walk at Knepp Wilding, Dial Post with refreshments in the cafe.

July - Southdowns wild flower walk from Kithurst car park.

More ideas for the early spring programme are in the pipeline.

​

Please note, we need at least 10 people for each trip to make the minibus hire viable.

We would like bookings to be confirmed and the bus fare paid at the WI meeting prior to the trip.
